 Hemlock Woolly Adelgid

A Canadian Hemlock infested with woolly adelgid pests (Adelges tsugae). These insects are deadly to Hemlocks and must be controlled quickly. without treatment, many specimen plants will be lost over the next decade. Contact our office for details on how ArborCare can help control these pests without the use of toxic chemicals.

ArborCare employs a number of different methods of controlling the woolly adelgid.  Some control options are aerial sprays, micro-trunk injection, and soil systemics, all of which are performed with little to no impact on the environment.  Choosing the proper method of control will require site inspection by one of our arborists.
